Cornish Artist, Shirley Netherton, paints wonderfully innocent and vibrant landscapes. Her simple, unique style has developed over many years and uses form and colour  to create captivating images that are just a pleasure to look at.

Shirley enjoys kayaking and walking and photographs places and things of interest which become the reference material for her work. Her art does not necessarily reflect the view that others might see. It is not her intention to capture realism but to create the image which she sees in her mind where the world is such a beautiful place. Her art has no message or pretensions - it takes you to the world as she sees it.
